Our world is full of distractions that compete for our hearts’ affections. The Lord calls us to dwell (to continually, actively remain) and to abide (to rest secure) in His enduring presence. This is a consistent practice in response to His steadfastness and faithfulness; it is moving against the tide and countering the pull of our culture and our world.
